Jane Osten (1775-1817)-an English writer, author of the so-called moral novels, she is considered to be a survey of realism in British literature. Simple in the plot, the ironic novels of Osten have not lost popularity and are obligatory for studying at all colleges and universities of Great Britain, and Osten itself is still rightfully considered the “first lady” of English literature.
