“Thoughts” completes the five -volume staff of D.A. Prigova (1940–2007), which included Monads, Moscow, Monsters and Places. This volume is made up of manifestos, articles and interviews in which Prigov unfolds his concept of modern culture and the understanding of the role and tasks facing the contemporary artist. Reflections on the typology of various directions of art and about the anthropological revolution flowing before our eyes are found here with articles and performances by Prigov about colleagues and friends, as well as with his comments on his own work.

The book also includes descriptions of incomplete projects and diary notes of Prigov. Although the author poses serious theoretical questions and gives original answers to them, he remains an artist who often plays a performance of scientific discourse and partly parody him. Many texts are published for the first time. Tom also contains a consolidated pointer of the works included in the meeting. Some texts are reproduced with the preservation of author's spelling and punctuation.
