Pavel Grigoryevich Ponomarenko was a schedule. He was an honored artist of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic and Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. In 1957, he successfully graduated from the Krasnodar Art College and actively worked in the field of book graphics. He was engaged in the design of books and the creation of illustrations for many books and textbooks. Ponomarenko owned various graphics techniques, including etching, linogram, coal, pastel and mixed techniques.
Since 1971, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of Russia and took part in exhibitions since 1957. For his work, he was awarded honorary diplomas, diplomas, as well as silver and bronze medals at international exhibitions-competitions of the book from 1960 to 1970.
