The problem of the priorities of economic development and modernization in Russia is considered in the reproductive aspect. Similar tasks have been set in Russia repeatedly, but implemented with varying degrees of success. According to the authors of the monograph, the problem of modernization requires a conceptual approach, which implies the inability to implement the planned transformations (mainly innovative) exclusively due to leading technologies. As a priority undertaking, the modernization of economic thinking, education and social transformations is proposed.
