Private Army P. Penyakov V.
During the Second World War, Hitler and Mussolini soldier in North Africa and Italy, an unusual unit was horrified: appearing out of nowhere, dashing guys fired at a dozen positions at the same time, burned warehouses and airfields, forced the surrender of the whole garrisons. So the fighters acted under the leadership of the Russian emigrant in the second generation of Vladimir Popski Penyakov, who put on his own battalion under the wing of the British armed forces in order to sow fear and depreciation into the rear of the enemy. For the first time published in Russian, Penyakov’s memoirs “Private Army Pop”, a cold-blooded story written by an adventurer and gentleman, where friendship with Arabs-Senussi, exhausting wanderings in the desert and mountains, mockery of the dullness of the army command, valor and mortal danger become compliance with one of the most amazing World War II stories.
