During the period of social transformations in society and the state, the problems of the moral formation of the younger generation are becoming increasingly acute. The most alarming of them manifest through the crime of minors, which in Russia is characterized by local growth in some regions and the aggravation of the cruelty of minors’s crime for several decades. At the same time, the number of convicted minors is also increasing.

In this work, conclusions are discussed and drawn on the most relevant for the legal status in the company of minors: the creation of autonomous juvenile justice, the age of legal responsibility for committed offenses, the rehabilitation consequences of punishment, especially for minors, about the boundaries of freedom and non -freedom In punishment, a regional approach to the relief of juvenile delinquency, focusing on the education system as the main basis for the confrontation of minors crime, the allocation of modern innovative punitive experience in relation to minors, the separation of adolescence and adult criminal spaces both in penitentiary practice and the judicial.

The content of the study fits into the overall space of observing human rights, both at the all -Russian level and international. The problems under consideration fit into the general tendency to improve jurisprudence in Russia.
