The textbook is written by the author’s team of teachers representing medical educational organizations of higher and secondary vocational education who participated in the organization of the National Professional Excellence Championship “Young Professionals” according to the WorldSkills standards (WorldSkills Russia 2016) in the competence “Medical and Social Care”.

The content of the textbook complies with the requirements of the work program of the professional module PM.04 “Performing work for one or more professions of workers, employees' positions (younger nurse for patient care)”, compiled on the basis of the federal state educational standard in the specialty of secondary vocational education 34.02.01 “Nursing” (GBPOU DZM “Medical College No. 2”).
