The program of the course "Social Studies" is designed to study social studies in grades 10-11 of general educational organizations. The program is included in the system of educational and methodological sets "Success Algorithm", its concept and content are implemented in social studies textbooks by editorship of the Academician RAO G. A. Bordovsky (IC "Ventana-Graf"). The program establishes the goals and objectives of training in the subject "Social Studies" in grades 10-11. The general characteristic of the course is given, its place in the curriculum is indicated, personal, meta -subject and subject results of the development of the course are given. Approaches are proposed to the organization of students' activities, the main content and thematic planning of the course, as well as the material and technical support of educational activities. The structure and content of the program comply with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Secondary General Education (2012).
