This book is not so much a biography as the reconstruction of the psychological portrait of the sculptor, architect, artist and poet Michelangelo Buonarroti, whom contemporaries called the Divine Michelangelo. His creative path, which lasted more than 70 years, began in the age of high revival, and ended in the age of mannerism, giving humanity the sculpture of the Virgin and Jesus Christ, David and Moses, the frescoes in the Sikistan chapel and the cathedral of St. Peter.
