This book sets out the results of linguistic, statistical and information-semiotic studies of pathological texts, that is, such oral and written texts that are obtained from patients suffering from mental illness. These results are compared with data obtained in the same way on non -poatological texts. Based on such a comparison, an information and semiotypical typology of speech and thought disorders is proposed, and the possibility of using clinical psycholinguistic data in the development of artificial intelligence systems is discussed.
