Contains information about the works of outstanding psychiatrists, scientists who not only determined the most important psychopathological symptoms and syndromes, but also identifying individual nosological forms of psychoses.

The section of general psychopathology considers descriptive psychopathology in the evolutionary formation of the categorical apparatus of the semiotics of mental diseases. In the section of private psychiatry, the authors consistently prove the importance of the clarity of the main definitions of mental illness with the analysis of the systematics of psychosis, taking into account the dichotomy “nosology-symptomatology” and the realities of the ICB-10.
