The diagnostic model PDM - 2 is designed to give a systematic description of healthy functioning and personality disorders; individual profiles of mental functioning (including patterns of relations with other people, understanding and expression of feelings, overcoming stress and anxiety, regulation of impulses, monitoring their own emotions and behavior and the formation of moral judgments, etc.); as well as symptomed patterns, including differences in subjective experiences of symptoms with each person and in subjective experiences of attending therapists.
The book gives a detailed description of the problems of the functioning of the personality and psychological problems of infant, children's, young, mature, elderly and senior ages , there are many examples from practice.
The management is addressed to specialists of both psychodynamic and other approaches, including cognitive -behavioral, emotionally - focused, systemic family, humanistic, etc. One of the main tasks of the authors of the book is helping beginners therapists.
