The book of the American psychologist Abraham Maslow, one of the iconic figures in the psychology of the 20th century, presented an alternative to the two main directions in psychology at the time of its first edition - behaviorism and Freudian psychoanalysis. Maslow, who began his research path as a pupil of the behaviorist approach, perceives the influence of the so -called “third force”.
