Religious problems as one of the basic constants of a human worldview has always been an important component of Jung's research. He put forward the idea that any person is religious a priori, and religion is a special attitude of the mind that reflects a person’s innate need for piety and the highest sacred leadership.

In the works that compiled a collection, the author explores not only the metaphysics and philosophy of the Western religion, but also considers it from the point of view of psychology, representing the original vision of the archetypal foundation of Christianity and unexpected interpretations of the main Christian symbols and dogmas.
