Yuri Markovich Nagibin (1920-1994) is known as a prose writer, a journalist and screenwriter, thanks to whom many popular films such as “Chairman”, “Red Tent”, “Midsarina, forward!” and others. His work is multifaceted, he wrote about the war, hunting, Russian village; about poets, writers, musicians; About the events that played a large role in the history of Russia. An important place among the writer's heritage is occupied by autobiographical stories and stories: touching, funny and at the same time tragic, conveying the spirit of the time in which the writer lived. The current publication includes the cycles of the stories “Clean Ponds” and “Old Lane”.
