Vasily Vasilievich Sipovsky (1872-1930)-Russian and Soviet literary critic, teacher, writer-biofidist, since 1921 a member of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. One of the first who was engaged in the preparation of a bibliographic pointer of works written from the day of the death of A. S. Pushkin.
In the monograph “Pushkin: Life and Creativity”, the researcher notes that “in the life and activities of every person, it is necessary to distinguish an element of pattern and an element of accident” and that it is these factors that determine the essence of the historical phenomenon. Therefore, the author saw the study of the “element of random” in the life and work of Pushkin, the study of the personality of the poet, the development and change of his “mood”.
