The novel “Pushkin” of the Soviet writer and literary critic Yu. N. Tynyanov (1894-1943) is dedicated to the childhood, adolescence and youth of the poet. The author tells about the environment in which the talent of Alexander Pushkin was brought up and developed. On the basis of documentary and memoirs, a picture of the family, private and household life of Russian society of the first decades of the XIX century is drawn. The atmosphere of state, literary and intellectual life is widely covered. The writer managed to capture not only the living image of Pushkin, but also the images of many characters of his era.
