The largest English playwright of the late XIX - the first half of the XX century. George Bernard Show (1856-1950) in his works acts as a master of intellectual drama-discord, built on acute dialogues, full of paradoxical situations that destroys all traditional ideas about the theater. His plays are playing a political reaction, normative morality, hypocrisy, hypocrisy. In 1925, the writer was awarded the Nobel Prize.
