The book is written on the basis of experience in teaching programming in the Python language in a circle of young programmers and tested on children 7-12 years old. The material is designed for independent, without the help of adults, studying the foundations of Python by schoolchildren of 2-5 grades with basic computer control skills. The process of creating programs is given a step by step with screenshots. When creating the first programs, the children do not write the code, but collect a program from multi -colored blocks, as in Scratch, then turn it into code and bring small edits into it. Children will learn how to program a turtle for drawing patterns, as well as create buildings, manage characters and drones in minecraft. In the process of gaming training, children learn about data types, operators, cycles, lists, functions and other Python language elements.
