The training manual systematizes the basic regulatory, theoretical and practical issues of quality control of laboratory research. The key concepts and terms are set out in an accessible form. The main stages of laboratory research and sources of possible errors characteristic of each of the stages are described. Information about the types of control materials, the requirements for them, recommendations for the choice and rules of use. The main algorithms of intra -laboratory quality control and the rules for identifying errors are characterized and presented. Data on external assessment of the quality of laboratory tests are given.
