Nikonov Alexander Petrovich is the author of more than two dozen art and popular science books. Being five minutes without a candidate of sciences, he threw already written dissertation and left science first in journalism, and then to writing, where he succeeded a lot: he became a laureate of the prize of the Russian Journalists (2001) and the Moscow Journalists (2002). For his contribution to the domestic culture, he was awarded the Pushkin medal (1999), for the book “Apster the Monkey” received the Belyaevsky Prize (2005).

In this book, the author tells about the mysterious world of quantum mechanics - the most amazing, difficult to explain and few by someone the understood chapter in the book of physics. Quantum mechanics is known not only by the fact that the foundation of the universe itself studies, that is, the basis of the foundations of our world, but is also the first section of physics in which modern science encounters an observer, that is, with consciousness.
