This publication fixed some inaccuracies that were in the first version of the text, added to the description of a number of pathological conditions, information about certain diseases that were not mentioned previously (osteoblastoma, segmental dentist dysplasia, pseudocyst).
It does not contain information about all the existing pathological states of the maxillofacial region, but only describes how the dentist system in normal looks on the computer tomogram and how-with the most common diseases and abnormalities of the development of teeth and jaws. The book describes the principles of virtual positioning of the coordinate system in the three -dimensional space of a computer tomogram, the rules for working with program tools and the rules for the correct visualization of the objects under study. Errors and artifacts that occur when working with a two -dimensional and three -dimensional image are considered. The algorithms are given and the terms necessary for professional description of intra -year images and images obtained when working with a computer tomogram are recommended.
Most of the pathological states found in the practice of a dentist, as well as odontogenic processes in the maxillary sinuses are described from the point of view of radiodiagnostics and are sequentially illustrated. In addition, some difficult diseases and vices of teeth and bone tissue of the jaws are described in detail in detail. Each clinical case provides information relating to etiology, pathogenesis and radio sorters of the state under discussion.
The first and second chapters of the book contain information about two -dimensional dental radioography. Methods and methods of obtaining high -quality intra -year images of teeth, panoramic tomograms and TRGs are described.
the third and fourth chapter are devoted to three -dimensional diagnostics. The terms used by the author are generally accepted international definitions and in some cases may not coincide with traditional formulations and designations that exist in domestic literature.
