At nine years, Alfred knows too well what loneliness is. He does not have mom, his father always disappears somewhere, and if he appears at home, he does not pay any attention to Alfred and forgets to even leave him money for food. Alfred is used to cope with everything.

But one night it happens incredible: someone throws a newspaper into the letters slot for letters, into which woolen socks, apple and sandwich are wrapped! So Alfred meets Amanda Shelest, whose sensitive hearing catches sighs of forgotten children, and finds an old radio in her house. And then Alfred comes up with the idea: why not start to keep a secret radio broadcast for all the rest of those who are forgotten, like himself, children?
