Random data: structure and analysis. Himenko V.I.
The book is devoted to one of the most general problems of physics and technology, biology and natural science - the problem of extracting information from random data (observations, measurements, experimental research). This problem includes the stages of data collection, building models of real processes and systems, analysis and interpretation of the results.
The book gives a description and a detailed analysis of the structure of the most important from the point of view of applications of models of time series, continuous random processes, random streams of events, random fields and images. A large number of new results are presented on a probabilistic analysis of heterogeneous data, displays of random processes on the phase plane, the characteristics of emissions and the characteristics of excesses of the specified levels. A wide variety of practical tasks is shown that are solved (or may be solved) based on the considered models of random functions.
For a wide range of specialists, graduate students and students, for those who study, explore and puts in practice the models and methods of analyzing random data different in their physical nature.
