You are in front of you a series of reprint publications of the best children's books of the 1920-1930s. Many of them have never been reprinted. Almost a hundred years have passed, and these books delight us in the same way as children of the Country of Soviets. “Children of the Future” - we are all, the readers are large and small. Our book is as close as possible to the original publication. It is protected by an additional serial cover - bright and modern in design. The text on the cover of the best domestic specialists in the history of the children's book introduces readers with authors, artists and the time of creating these books.
The coup in children's literature occurred in the 1910-1920s, when moral and often sweet products for small Readers were replaced by texts and illustrations based on other principles. One of the first theorists and practitioners of the new children's book was Korney Chukovsky, who claimed that the writer for children should look at the world through the eyes of the child. After the revolution, the installation of the Bolsheviks to accelerated the elimination of illiteracy had its fruits, and already in the mid-1920s a large market for children arose. In 1924, the department of children's literature appeared in the framework of the State Publishing House - the largest state publishing house. The new generation of writers and artists created an interesting phenomenon-a Soviet children's picture book. Despite the ideological attitudes of the state, interested in the education of a “new person”, many of these books are free from official ideology. As a rule, they are much better than today's mass products for children. And at the same time, this is a monument of the era directed into the future. There are five different books of 1925 and 1930 in this folder. Each has the possibilities of training the account skills. And if in the book for kids “numbers” there is no text at all, then “chess” and “watches” addressed to ten -year -old students will read their parents with great benefit.
