Records and extracts. 5th edition. Gasparov M.L.
Academician M. L. Gasparov (1935–2005) - the largest domestic philologist, literary critic, translator, laureate of the State Prize of Russia (1995), Pushkin Prize of the Russian Academy of Sciences and several others, the author of numerous works on ancient literature, poetics and poetry , widely known in our country and abroad. His book “Entertaining Greece: Tales of ancient Greek culture”, which has withstood many reprints, enjoys great success.
The book proposed is its only unscientific work. It is a bizarre alloy of memoirs, diary entries, letters, journalistic articles, memories of their teachers, friends and colleagues: the legendary anti-nomple of S. I. Sobolevsky, about F. A. Petrovsky and M. E. Grabar-Passek, writers S. P. Bobrov, K. Chukovsky, academician S. S. Averintsev, poet I. Brodsky and other wonderful people - outstanding representatives of Russian culture of the 20th century.
