Red terror in Russia. Melgunov S.P.

The book proposed to readers includes two works by the famous Russian historian S.P. Melgunova - “Red Terror in Russia” and “Golden German Key of the Bolsheviks”. In the exile of Melgunov, he was destined to become one of the main chronicles of the Civil War in Russia, he devoted a special place for violence generated by a revolution: “Both the red and white terror are hated for me. But red terror is painful for me because I am a socialist and indirectly accept responsibility for what is happening here. ”

in my works S.P. Melgunov tried to be objective and use all available materials, but, as he himself indicated, he often lacked facts. Despite this, the work proposed to the reader to this day remain relevant, especially the book “Red Terror in Russia”, which has become a bibliographic rarity.
