I don't know what will happen. But I know for sure what happened. I was born and raised in Odessa. And I'm free to return to Odessa at any time. At any time of my memory.

"Otrada" is a novel in the essay. It included the chosen essays from the books “My Odessa Language” and “Odessa Foxtrot”. And of course, I wrote new ones. This is a trip to Odessa of the 70-80s of the twentieth century, to Odessa 2010-2012. Since 2014, the path to the city where I was born a Russian girl and grew up in a Russian family is closed to me. But one thing I can say for sure: this trip is not finished yet.
