Relicaries of Alexander Nevsky
The book is dedicated to the tombs of Alexander Nevsky. In the medieval culture of the reelcaries, in which the relics of the saints were endowed with sacred properties. Alexander Nevsky was buried in the Cathedral of the God-Roditsa-Knozelnoye monastery in Vladimir, and the first container of his remains was a white-stone sarcophagus. In 1697, the relics were solemnly transferred to gilded cancer, made the day before in the Golden Chamber of the Moscow Kremlin.
