In Moscow, under mysterious circumstances, a young policeman dies. His girlfriend Lera wears an expensive diamond ring on his hand, stolen once during the murder of his wife of a large official. Lera lives with a grandfather-Uglovan, who had killed the girl’s parents many years ago and made her an orphan. Such a ball of puzzles has to be unraveling in Nastya Kamenskaya and her colleagues from the criminal investigation department.
