The textbook is devoted to the complex discipline “Research of operations”, which implements the idea of ​​mathematical modeling of economic, engineering and social processes. The content is divided into chapters: the introduction to mathematical modeling and balance linear models, optimization, stock management models and mass service systems, mathematical statistics and correlation and regression models, simulation modeling. The material is stated at three levels. At the first level, basic theoretical provisions and statements are given, for understanding and mastering of which significant mathematical efforts are not required. At the second level, evidence of the main statements and theorems, as well as theoretical exercises with decisions that complement the content of the first level are given. The third level is intended for the development of the main algorithmic methods, which is provided by sets of computational and computer tasks for conducting audit classes.
