The problem of nasal breathing is relevant for modern medicine. To date, there are many classifications of rhinitis, according to which various patterns of conservative treatment of patients with acute and chronic runny nose have been developed. After analyzing a large number of standards for the diagnosis and treatment of rhinitis in the Russian Federation, as well as correlating them with international recommendations, the authors made this guide for general practitioners. It reflects the main issues of diagnosis, clinical picture, prevention and treatment of various forms of rhinitis. Special attention is paid to the features of patients at the stage of clinical observation after surgery on the nasal cavity.
