The methodological manual is addressed to teachers of preschool educational institutions, students of faculties of preschool education of pedagogical universities, teachers and students of pedagogical colleges.

The manual presents classes of classes aimed at familiarizing children with preschool age with the basic rules of safe behavior on the roads. Children learn to perform actions at the signal of the traffic light, use road markings for pedestrians, and recognize road signs of different categories. Road signs are presented in the form of illustrations on a color tab. Working with the book, you can cut them and use them as visual aids. The notes contain a large number of poems and riddles designed to increase children's interest in the subject being studied.

The presented technique was tested for several years in the work of pedagogical groups of preschool institutions.
