Road to Chanyan. Tublin V.

The book includes two stories. The first, “Road to Chang”, tells about the life of the great medieval Chinese poet Du Fu, who had to live and create during the civil war in Tang China. This war was called the uprising of Ani Lu -Shan and lasted through the reign of the three emperors.

The story "Spanish Triumph" transfers the reader to ancient Rome - in those days that directly preceded the conspiracy of the Republicans against Caesar. The hero of this story is Pontius Aquila People’s Tribune, defiantly not rising to greet Caesar when he drove past the tribuna bench on the forum as a triumph.
