When the space colonies of the Earth lost touch with their native planet, they had to survive without any support. When the descendants of the first colonists finally established a fragile balance with the hostile worlds surrounding them, it turned out that the Earth did not die. Thus begins the first interstellar war, dirty, dangerous and monstrously expensive. At the height of the war, people face a different and alien mind, impassive and omnipotent, whose motives are unknowable, and the possibilities are endless. Only the first to contact him accidentally comes to a roboter, a person specially bred to control the most difficult technical systems, and his psychology and a way of thinking are sometimes very different from the usual ones. Soon people will understand that they do not know anything about the true secrets of the cosmos and they will have to pay a very high price for some secrets.
