“Roman of the graphomaniac” is a kind of pseudobiography, built on the frank thoughts of the main character - the writer. Having emigrated from Russia, he published two dozen novels and documentary stories. By the end of his life, he came to the conclusion that the books are bad. To critically rethink his work, to understand the difference between the writer and the graphomaniac is helped by another fictional character - his alter ego. Each of the chapters is preceded by the reasoning of the son of the protagonist.
