Louise May Olcott is an American writer, the author of the famous novel “Little Women”, who brought her the world glory and love of readers. Until now, the book remains one of the most significant works of American literature. In 1875, Olcott released a touching story about a girl named Rosa, who, after the death of her parents, found a new house in a large friendly Campbell family. The writer could not part with a charming heroine (besides, the first book was successful) and a year later wrote a sequel - the story “Rose in color”.
After a two -year trip, Rosa returns to his homeland, where he finds himself at the center of close attention of numerous fans, of which, in the opinion of her aunts, is obliged to choose her husband. However, Rosa does not consider it necessary to rush with the wedding, appreciating his independence and building promising plans to conquer the Higher Belarus. In this edition, the story “Rose in Bloom” is presented in the new remarkable translation of Alexandra Glebovskaya.
