Russian art. Experience in the study of monuments and artistic phenomena. XV-XX century

The task of collective labor is to comprehend the concept of “Russian art” as a cultural construct. The definition of the boundaries of this concept requires a special study (or a set of research), but the materials presented in this publication contribute to the achievement of this goal. Each of the articles is devoted to a certain work or group of works in fairly wide temporary framework (late XV - mid -20th century), but together they are built into a consistent conversation about the phenomena of the history of Russian art related to the world artistic process. The publication is addressed to historians, art historians and all those interested in the history of domestic culture and art.
