The book first highlights the direction of Russian existentialism and the work of its specific representatives is investigated. In addition to the thinkers of the Silver Age, Nikolai Berdyaev (1874-1948) and Lev Shestova (1866-1938), the author classifies Mikhail Bakhtin (1895-1975) as the Creator of the Doctrine of the “moral existence” of man. The book has an innovative nature and raises a number of problems that are not affected by historians of the latest philosophy (Berdyaev Gnosticism, the connection of Bakhtin's secular views with the religious philosophy of the Silver Age, etc.). In the last section of labor, an essay in the epistolary form published in the journal Philosophical Letters published by the Higher School of Enterprise is placed. Their theme is Russian existentialism and anthroposophy of Rudolf Steiner, as well as mutual influence and ideological roll calls within existentialism itself. So, the author of the book involves the views of Jean-Paul Sartra (1905-1980) and Alber Camu (1913-1960). The purely genre “imitation” of the author Chaadaev makes his thoughts at ease and alive about the complex issues of the existence of a modern person.
