Russian futuristic book. Kovtun E.
This book is dedicated to the publishing activities of Russian futurists, poets and artists, or rather, lithographed publications that appeared in the 1910s. It was a bold printing experiment that abolished the main link in the process of printing a book - a typographic set.
Books of futurists were published by minor circulations, every decade they become more and more rare, and seems important for further research to fix everything preserved in libraries and private collections. This goal is a real book, which publishes a thorough catalog of nineteen lithographs and engraved on the linoleum of the publications of the 1910s.
The first lithographic books - “Old Love”, “Mirskonets”, “Game in hell” - were released in October - December 1912. With their semi -custive character, “needlework” appearance, outlandish - not only in the opinion of the layman - illustrations, they differed sharply from everything that appeared then on the book market.
