Russian historical prose (set in film)
A set of 10 books of the Russian Historical Prose series, created together with the Russian Historical Society for a wide range of readers.
The series was published in five volumes and ten books, which included works written in end of the XVIII - beginning of the XXI century. Many of the works included in the series for Russian readers are “places of memory” - according to the terminology of the historian Pierre Nora, symbolic elements of national memory. Each volume is preceded by a specialist’s preface, and the texts of the works are equipped with detailed comments.
part of the texts for the multi -volume were taken from the funds of the State Public Historical Library, reprinted from the Russian pre -reform spelling and first published in this collection of works.
