The program involves the study of the history of Russia in the context of world history, acquaintance with the main stages of Russian history, the laws of historical development of universal civilization and the Russian state, characteristic features of the socio-economic, socio-political and cultural development of Russian society throughout its historical development.

In addition, the program contributes to the formation of skills in working with information resources, the ability to interpret and analyze with their help the phenomena and processes of political, economic, social, cultural and other aspects of the life of the Russian state from antiquity to the present.

The curriculum is drawn up taking into account the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education (Federal State Educational Standard) in the direction of preparation of bachelors 03/05/01 “Arts and Humanities”, approved by order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia dated 08.06.2017 No. 532, approved by the protocol of the Expert Council on the development of historical education dated 02.15.2023 No. VF/15-PR, the concept of teaching the history of Russia for non-unrestric specialties and areas of training implemented in educational organizations of higher education.
