Russian language about situations. Designs with mesential actants. Flying A.
Monograph by A. B. Flying, professor of the School of Linguistics of the National Research University “Higher School of Economics” and an employee of the Institute of Russian Language of the Russian Academy of Sciences is devoted to Russian structures with morantial actants (subordinate, who occupy the place of the actor of the main verb).
The author clarifies the existing descriptions of the types of subordinate constructions with what (I know that he arrived), infinitive (I forgot to close the door), etc. However, the main task of the book is to pose new questions and describe new phenomena: among them - duplication structures in the subordinate clause Forms of the main verb (you need to start with the fact that everyone is called). The issue of whether it is possible for actan subordinate clauses to distinguish between the positions of the subject, direct and indirect addition, as is done for registered actants. The factors of labeling in the subordinate clause not only of time are determined (this is partly done in earlier works), but also of the type and modality/ mood. The applicability in the infinitive constructions of the Russian language (such as an athlete needs to be thin) is considered the concepts of the rise of the argument, designed to the greatest extent for English.
At the end of the monograph, a typological questionnaire is proposed to describe the moraine actors in the languages of the world, which can help under field research and compilation of grammatical descriptions.
