a new encyclopedic publication in three volumes, based on published and archival sources, is a unique reference manual, which contains biographies of almost 4 thousand Russian Masons and all the lists of Masonic workshops that worked in the Russian Empire at the present. The participation of Russian subjects in foreign Masonic lodges was also reflected in the publication. The following parts of the publication will disclose information about the development of Russian Freemasonry, respectively, in the XIX and XX centuries. In 2001, the Encyclopedic Dictionary was released: A. Serkov Russian Freemasonry. This book was acquired by all the largest libraries of the world. The information placed in the indicated edition was significantly supplemented by both new biographies and information about the participation of Russian subjects in Masonic workshops. The new three -volume edition is intended for both specialists studying the history and culture of Russia, and for a wide range of readers interested in these issues.
