It responds well to the addition of ash or lime. For guaranteed flowering, every year after drying the leaves, it is necessary to dig out the bulbs and lay them on warming up in a hot dry room. The onion of the hazel grouse is deprived of hiding scales, so it is better to shift them with peat, sawdust or sand to protect against drying out. In the end of August, when the roots begin to grow, the plant can be planted in the garden.
