The presented hagiographic collection is dedicated to the personality of St. John Shanghai and San Francisian. It presents the biography of the saint, the story of his veneration and his holy relics, evidence of the miracles of the saint, the memories of eyewitnesses who knew him, teachings from the creations of Vladyka John, as well as the akathist to the saint. Four applications are also included in this book: the history of the Russian foreign church, commendable words in honor of St. John, the narrative of the temple in the name of the icon of the Mother of God “all mourning joy” and the akathist to the saint.
