Salting years. Hermtsyk E.K.
The book contains the texts of different genres of the Writer of the Silver Age Evgenia Kazimirovna Hermedyk (1870-1944): this is artistic prose, and a literary treatise, and a model of memoirs, as well as a large selection of letters. The texts are provided by the grandchildren of E.K. Hertsyk T. Zhukovskaya, the keeper of the Archive of the Hermsik-Zhukovsky family. The works of E.K. Hermtsyk, dated in 1914-1927, transfer the atmosphere of revolutionary and military “incinerating years” - fatal for the fate of Russia. The master of the literary portrait, Eugene Hermtsyk recreates the images of his friends - creators of the culture of the Silver Age - N. Berdyaev, Vyach. Ivanova, S. Bulgakov and many others. The works of E. Hermtsyk are commented and supplemented by research materials. The compiler complemented the main building of the book by N. Berdyaev’s famous treatise “New Middle Ages” (1923, Berlin), containing not only prophecies about the future, but also reflecting the situation of those years.
