Emilio Salgari (1862–1911) - a famous writer, whom contemporaries called "Italian Jules Verne", who created about two hundred novels and stories. Among these numerous works, sparkling with vivid fantasy and exciting stories, two pirate cycles won the most popular: “Antille Pirates”, about the adventures of the Black Corsair and his faithful followers, as well as a series of novels under the general name “Malaysia Pirates”, about the noble robber of Sandocan.

The present edition included two long -awaited novels about the further adventures of the brave pirate: “Retribution of the Sandocan” (in the new translation) and “The Return of Momramem” (for the first time in Russian). In these works, Sandokan, along with his faithful friends, is preparing to avenge his mortal enemy, who destroyed his family, as well as to tear his native island from the tenacious paws of the British.

For the first time in Russia, works are accompanied by a complete set of illustrations of the famous Italian artist Alberto Della Valle.
