In the book, the authors tried to highlight the condition of the problem of multiple sclerosis at the present stage. In almost all sections, additions and changes have been made, but the chapters are most significantly changed, in which the issues of pathogenesis of multiple sclerosis are considered. Emotionally affective and cognitive disorders are presented in more detail. The section dedicated to the clinic of acute multiple encephalomyelitis is significantly expanded. A variety of new approaches to treatment are considered, some of which are already being introduced into everyday practice. This publication includes a chapter dedicated to multiple sclerosis in children and its differential diagnosis.
