The book of the chosen works of the wonderful Russian writer and translator Dmitry Zhukov included a story about the life and adventures of the terrorist and writer Boris Savinkov, as well as Roman Khronika about the almost centenary life of the writer Vasily Vitalievich Shulgin, a member of the State Duma, one of the founders of the Belogvardei movement, one of the founders of the White Guard movement, one of the founders found in the very center of events of Russian history of the 20th century. So, he accepted the renunciation of Emperor Nicholas II, and after decades he was present at the Congress of the Communists, having served a fair period in the Vladimir prison. In his novel D.A. Zhukov, who was friends with Shulgin, fascinatingly tells about his personal life and even the prison dreams of his hero, who remained outside the many publications about mysticism and the original thinker.
